Placing for alliance
Banner / HQ status
New banners take this status. In Set status mode, clicking a banner or HQ
on the map switches it to this one.
How it works
A banner claims a 7×7 square, an HQ a 15×15 square — but only over ground no
alliance has claimed yet. Whoever places first keeps the tile; a later banner from
another alliance cannot take it. Cities and bear traps only go inside their own alliance's
territory, and nothing but a Marker can sit on fixed terrain — mountains, lakes, buildings,
the castle, fortress and facility zones, and alliance resource nodes.
Scroll to zoom. Hold Space or the middle button to pan; right-click drops the
selection and returns to panning. In Place mode drag to lay down a run; in Select mode
drag empty ground to marquee-select, then Delete to remove.
Double-click an object to rename it where it stands. The small white pip marks the
cell an object is named by — its lowest X,Y.
